Been Awhile…

Well, I’m sorry for not updating recently!
Things have been going well recently.  I was sick for a couple of weeks, as was Anna, but we seem to be on the mend now.  Dialysis is going OK, and as you’ve probably guessed,  that’s where I am right now.
Actually I only have 3 minutes left on the machine, which means I don’t have time for any sort of update right now.  Not that it matters though, seems I’m the only one reading this recently.

Where Have I Been?

Sorry I’ve been away recently.  I really haven’t had that much to say as of late.  A couple of quick updates though:
We went to see STOMP for Father’s Day, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  For those not familiar, it’s a live show, with 8 performers, and is entirely rhythmic.  No words, no dialogue, and most pleasing: no message.  It was so refreshing to go to a show and simply be entertained for a couple of hours.  It’s obvious in watching a show like this that the performers have spent countless hours practicing both their musical ability, and also their choreography.  8 People are sweeping the stage with large brooms, and are somehow able to create a symphony of rhythm out of it, tightly choreographed and cleanly executed.
Not only are they good at entertaining you with their gifted musicality, but also with some humor, and "simple" family entertainment.  For example there is one performer who is always late getting on stage, and is always doing something relatively funny.  While you’re amazed at the syncopation and synchronization achieved by his colleagues, he is doing something equally as entertaining, with humor.

Simply put it was a very enjoyable afternoon, and I hope you have the chance to see STOMP sometime!
